The man accused of killing his estranged girlfriend and her eight-year-old son is in court today.
Police said Cedric Ricks fatally stabbed Roxann Diana Sanchez, 30, and her son, Anthony Reyes Figueroa inside their Bedford apartment in 2013. Ricks is also accused of stabbing Sanchez's 12-year-old son during the attack.
Ricks was charged with the capital murders for the fatal stabbing victims in May of 2013 after he fled the state and was arrested in Oklahoma.
His bond was set at $4 million for the capital murder charges and an additional $500,000 bond for a charge of injury to a child.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case.
