Traffic Signal Toppled in Dallas Water Main Break

A break in a Dallas water main caused traffic trouble for drivers on Arapaho Road and Hillcrest Drive.

The force of the water from the ruptured pipeline toppled a traffic signal around 5 a.m. Friday morning.

Water crews headed to the scene to control the flow of water that flowed down Arapaho Road for a few blocks.

Police and fire crews shut down most of the intersection as crews work to repair the break.

NBC 5's Keaton Fox shot the following Vine showcasing the water spewing out of the broken line.
