Top DISD investigator placed on paid leave, escorted out by police

A top Dallas ISD investigator who led the recent probe of a sports recruiting scandal that cost 15 district athletic employees their jobs was placed on paid leave Thursday and escorted out of his office by district police.

Jeremy Liebbe was recently promoted to manage the Professional Standards Office, a new investigative unit in DISD’s human resources department.
