A 2-year-old Houston-area boy has died of injuries suffered when he apparently climbed out of his car seat, wandered behind his family's car and then was run over as his father was backing up.
Montgomery County authorities found no evidence of foul play in the accident Saturday evening outside a restaurant in Magnolia.
The boy died after he was taken by helicopter to a hospital.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Detective Paul Haas said it appears the child somehow unbuckled the straps to his car seat and got out while his parents were loading other children into their car.
