Two Killed in Seagoville Triple Shooting

A second man died overnight after a triple shooting in a vacant Seagoville home on Tuesday.

Police and emergency crews responded to three people shot in Seagoville. Investigators said all of the victims were men and the shooting happened at a vacant home on Crosscreek Lane.

Capt. Ray Calverley from the Seagoville Police Department said a neighbor on an adjacent street saw a man in a white shirt running down an alley with blood on him. That neighbor said she heard gunshots and reported the incident to 911.

Police arrived at the scene and made a traffic stop where they found one man who had been shot. That person was transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.

Shortly after, police made another traffic stop and found another man who had been shot. That person was transported to an area hospital.

Officers found a third man dead inside the vacant house. They also found two handguns inside the house and say the shooting appears to have happened inside.

Seagoville PD sent the Dallas County Criminal division and Texas Rangers to assist in the investigation.

The medical examiner was called to the scene.

Christine Dykes with the Seagoville PD reported a second shooting victim died Tuesday night at the hospital.

Police have not made any arrests or released any information about the identities of those involved.
