Three Car Collision Injures Two

Two people are hospitalized after a three-car collision in Arlington Sunday night.

At 10:57 p.m., Arlington firefighters responded to northbound Collins Road and Green Oaks Boulevard for a three-car collision.

Police said a white Mercedes was southbound on Collins when it collided with a small black car that was eastbound on Green Oaks. At least one of the out control vehicles hit a small brown car.

The Mercedes was occupied by a woman who was injured and airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital. The small black car was occupied by an adult male who was also injured and was transported by ground ambulance. Both are in stable condition.

The brown car was occupied by two men and they escaped injury.

Police mapped the crashed scene and are working to determine which car ran the red light. They are also exploring if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
