Three Bikers Released on Lower Than Expected Bond Amounts, 2 Re-Arrested

Police are searching for the third wanted biker, Drew David King.

Two of the three bikers arrested in Sunday's deadly shootout in Waco and released Monday on a lower than expected bond have been re-arrested, Waco police say.

Juan Carlos Garcia, Drew David King and Jim Albert Harris were released Monday after paying bond amounts of $50,000, $50,000 and $20,000, respectively.

All of the 170 arrested bikers were being held on $1 million bonds, or so it was thought, after being arrested on charges of engaging in organized crime in relation to a capital murder.

The three had been charged with engaging in organized crime, a Class A misdemeanor, on a different case number than the other bikers arrested on a similar charge.

A McLennan County judge noticed the three were connected to the arrests at Twin Peaks and revoked the bond for all three. Two of the men, Garcia and Harris, were taken back into custody and are now being held on $1 million bond.

The third man, Drew David King, is expected to be back in police custody soon, Waco police said.

Waco police spokesperson Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Tuesday afternoon that if King were listening it would be in his best interest to come see the police before they came after him.

McLennan County Justice of the Peace W.H. Peterson set the bond Monday for each suspect and described the amount as "appropriate" given the level of violence that occurred a day earlier at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco.
