Three Arlington Banks Robbed

Arlington Police and the FBI are investigating three bank robberies that occurred in a matter of hours Wednesday.

The first at Bank of America on the 4200 block of West Green Oaks Boulevard. Police say a man presented the teller with a note and ran away after receiving the money.

Then, 15 minutes later, police believe the same man robbed a Frost Bank in the 5500 block of West Arkansas Lane. Police say he had a gun, showed the teller a note and fled, again, on foot.

Nearly two hours later, police say a different man robbed a Frost Bank in the 5900 block of South Cooper. The man was wearing a hospital mask when he entered the bank just before 2pm. Police do not believe the third robbery is connected with the first two.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sean Wheetley with Arlington Police at (817) 459-5678 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
