A 13-year-old student was arrested Thursday after he made threatening statements on social media against students at Cockrill Middle School, police say.
Detectives questioned the student Thursday night and said he admitted to making the statements.
The student was placed under arrest for making a false alarm.
Details about what the student said were not made available.
School is continuing as normal Friday, the district said.
