Texas Mother Hopes for Son's Safety During Tornado Watch

Madalyn Begley knows she is powerless when it comes to the weather. She is home in Richardson, and her son Josh is at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, in the tornado’s path.

She has been in constant contact with him, by text and FaceTime.

Last night, he sought shelter in his fraternity's basement, which was deemed a safe place, and he expects to be right back there sometime Tuesday.

“I am more nervous. I think experience -- I know what tornadoes mean. I remember the devastation a few years ago in Tuscaloosa. Kids are invincible, or at least they think they are,” said Begley.
