A school bus driver is being accused of causing a traffic accident that resulted in a man's death.
The San Antonio Express-News reported that David L. Wayne has been arrested and will face a charge of failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office alleged that Wayne ran a stop sign early Friday, causing the driver of the 18-wheeler to swerve into an oncoming lane and slam head-on into a car.
The driver of the car, 62-year-old Larry Salsbury, died at the scene.
Wayne, who works for the Northside Independent School District, was arrested after he returned to the district's bus depot later Friday.
Court records did not list an attorney for the 64-year-old Wayne.
