Terry Hopes Superstitions Will Keep Mavs Alive

Terry tries different clothes and other traditions for good luck

Jason Terry shared with reporters some of the procedures he hopes will boost the Mavs to a victory in front of a hometown crowd Saturday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder grabbed a 3-0 series lead with a dominating 95-79 victory Thursday night after winning the first two games at home by a combined four points.

"I broke every broom in the house," Terry said. "So that's a little superstition so I don't think they'll be any sweeps going on.. Got the black shoes on for the night... want to wear the gold ones but they banned them."

Terry is part of the defending NBA World Champion Dallas Mavericks.  Everything is on the line Saturday night at the American Airlines Center.

"So.. we going to try the black suit thing.. the funeral," Terry said. "We just hope it ain't ours."
