4 Teens Wounded in Shooting at Garland Park: Police

Garland police say four teenagers were wounded by gunshots after a confrontation Tuesday at a park.

Police were called at about 6:30 p.m. to the area of Hall Park on the 1300 block of Rivercrest Lane, where they found three people with gunshot wounds.

A fourth person arrived later at Baylor Medical Center at Garland for treatment of a gunshot wound, police said.

The ages of the four people injured are 13, 16, 18 and 19, police said.

Investigators believe two groups of people arrived to fight, and one group began shooting at the other, striking four people.

The investigation continues, and police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call them at 972-485-4840.
