The body of a 17-year-old male was found in a DeSoto yard Wednesday morning.
The boy was found near the alleyway on the 700 block of Priscilla Lane when a resident stepped outside to take out their trash at about 6 a.m.
There were obvious signs of trauma to the boy and the Dallas County medical examiner said he may have been struck by a car or struck with a blunt object. The boy's bicycle was found nearby.
At this time, the boy's death is being investigated as a homicide pending the medical examiner's determination of the cause of death.
The teen, whose identity has not yet been released, would have been a senior at DeSoto High School in the fall, police said.
