Police are trying to determine how a 17-year-old disabled boy drowned in a backyard pool in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon.
The victim, Kirk Johnson, was found floating face down in a swimming pool at a home in the 3200 block of Wabash Avenue, near Texas Christian University.
Fort Worth police said emergency workers tried to resuscitate Johnson but they were unsuccessful.
While officers confirm he was disabled, they did not elaborate on if that was a factor in Johnson's death.
