Teen Shot, Killed in Oak Cliff

Second person listed in critical condition following shooting

Dallas police say a teenager is dead and another person has been hospitalized after a shooting in Oak Cliff Monday night.

Just after 8:30 p.m., police responding to a shooting call on the 2700 block of Emmett Street arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

One block away, on the 2800 block of Brandon Street, officers found another man who had also been shot.

Both of the shooting victims were taken to Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas. One of the victims,  identified as 18-year-old Marco Ramirez, died from his injury.  The second victim, whose identity has not been released, is listed in critical condition.

Dallas police said the shootings are under investigation and that, at this time, no arrests have been made.
