Teen Girl's Earlobe Bitten Off in Fight

Fort Worth police said a 15-year-old girl had her earlobe bitten off in during a fight at an apartment complex overnight Monday.

According to Sharron Neal with the Fort Worth Police Department, officers were dispatched at 5:25 a.m. to Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in response to an assault.

When officers arrived, a 15-year-old female victim reported that she had been involved in two fights with the same person; the first at Butler Housing where she and her accused attacker both live, and the second at a friend’s apartment.

The victim told police that after the first fight, she went to a friend's house where they continued to argue with the other girl via Facebook. The victim told police that the other girl and some of her friends then drove to her friend's apartment and a second fight ensued.

During that second fight the girl’s earlobe was bitten off, police said.

After the fight, the girl was driven to the hospital and the police were called.

Fort Worth police are investigating the incident.
