Teachers Aide Charged with Sexual Assault of a Child

Man free on $100,000 bond

A 23-year-old teacher's assistant has been placed on leave after being accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.

Moises Castellon was arrested at his Fort Worth home on May 4 after the teen told police Castellon performed oral sex on him in the parking lot of Richland Middle School.

The teen said he had met a male named Junior in an online chatroom on Dec. 31, 2011 and arranged to meet that evening, which they did, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The pair also agreed to meet on Jan. 17, 2012, again at the middle school.  The teen told his mother he wanted to get some exercise, so she dropped him off at the school.  As the teen approached Junior's black Toyota Corolla, the boy's mother returned to the parking lot.

The teen warned Junior via text that his mother had returned and Junior quickly sped away, according to the affidavit. The teen's mother later texted Junior to let him know she had filed a police report.

Junior and the teen had no further contact.

On April 25, the teen called Junior's number and a male answered the phone and identified himself as Moises Castellon. Castellon denied any knowledge of the teen and denied owning a black Corolla.

On his Facebook page, investigators learned Castellon worked for the Fort Worth Independent School District as a teacher's aide. At his home, they found a black Corolla.

On April 27, Castellon was positively identified by the teen as the man he had met in the parking lot. The Fort Worth ISD placed Castellon on administrative leave as soon as they learned of the investigation.

Castellon was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child, a felony.  He is currently free after posting $100,000 bond on the condition he have no contact with a child under the age of 17.
