A TCU shuttle bus driver has been charged with murder in an alleged assault on another driver.
Eric Hampton, 53, was arrested Nov. 7, after police said he shot at another driver, missed, and then ran into him with his bus.
The victim, David Mitchell, 52, later died of his injuries.
Hampton was originally charged with assault but prosecutors upgraded the charge to murder on Wednesday following Mitchell’s death.
The two worked for a TCU contractor that runs the school’s shuttle buses.
