TCU Holds Special Meeting Over Quarterback

TCU coach meets with chancellor, AD about Pachall

TCU coach Gary Patterson met Sunday with the school's chancellor and athletic director about suspended quarterback Casey Pachall.

Patterson plans to announce Pachall's status with the team during his Tuesday media lucheon around 2:30 p.m.

Pachall was indefinitely suspended after being arrested early Thursday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The arrest came eight months after the junior quarterback admitted to police that he smoked marijuana and failed a team-administered drug test.

Asked if there was any change in Pachall's status with the team, Patterson said, "not at this point."

Redshirt freshman Trevone Boykin threw for 270 yards and had three interceptions Saturday in a 37-23 home loss to Iowa State.

TCU (4-1), which plays Saturday at Baylor, dropped from 15th to out of the latest AP Top 25.
