The northbound and southbound lanes along the 400 block of Coit Road in Plano are open once again following a suspicious package investigation in the area Tuesday afternoon.
Using a robot and officers in protective gear, the Plano Police Department looked over the device before detonating it shortly before 3:45 p.m.
The package, which was in the media between Coit and a Whataburger parking lot, was found to contain only personal items.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
