Authorities in Dona Ana County say a man suspected of stabbing another man has been located in Texas.
The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department said Saturday that 35-year-old Roberto Urquidi remains jailed in El Paso County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. He faces one felony count of attempted murder.
He was arrested Thursday night in El Paso. Sheriff's investigators say he was found with the help of El Paso police and a U.S. Marshals task force.
Urquidi is expected to be taken back to New Mexico.
The Sheriff's Department says he is accused of stabbing a 50-year-old man in Anthony last week.
The victim remains in stable but critical condition at an El Paso hospital.
