Farmers Branch police say they have arrested the man they say is responsibe for stabbing one of their officers Saturday morning.
The officer, who was off-duty at the time, was stabbed at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at an apartment complex in the 4000 block of Sigma Drive.
Saturday afternoon, police identified the suspect as Donald Ramel James White. The Farmers Branch Police Department said later Saturday night that he had been arrested.
The Farmers Branch Police Department confirmed Saturday afternoon that the officer has been released from the hospital and is recovering.
