A store clerk with a gunshot wound is hospitalized in critical condition following an armed robbery Sunday night in Fort Worth, police said.
Officers responded to a shooting call about 11 p.m. at a convenience store in the 4300 block of Baldwin Avenue where three individuals went inside the store and demanded cash, police said.
An employee tried to break up the robbery and a struggle ensued over the weapon, police said.
When the suspects were leaving the store, one suspect struck the employee, police said.
The employee was hospitalized and the suspects remain at large.
