Carrollton police surrounded an apartment building near Frankford Road and the George Bush Turnpike Friday.
Some time after noon, multiple police units surrounded a building at the Cornerstone Apartments on the 2600-block of Frankford Road.
Not much yet is known about the situation other than that officers arrived at the scene and convinced a man holed-up inside an apartment to come out peacefully.
The standoff ended at about 1:45 p.m. and the man was transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas for evaluation.
