    Smash and Grab Burglaries at North Texas Gyms

    Police are looking for your help finding a man wanted, who in connection with smash and grabs at gyms in at least eight cities throughout North Texas. (Published Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015)

    Police are looking for your help finding this man wanted, who in connection with smash and grabs at gyms in at least eight cities throughout North Texas.

    Women are the targets, and police say he watches them go into the gym, and then looks into their cars to see if there are any purses and bags in view. Then he smashes in the window and grabs the bags.

    The man works fast; he quickly uses the stolen credit cards before the victims even knows they are missing. By the time they cancel them, the damage is done.

    Southlake police released a surveillance photo from a retail outlet immediately after a smash and grab.

    The man has broken into cars parked at gyms in Southlake, Plano, Flower Mound, Colleyville, Frisco, Euless, and Highland Village, since September of last year.

    Police say the man is responsible for three burglaries at 24 Hour Fitness in Southlake over the last few months.

    Police remind everyone to never leave valuables in plain sight.
