Red Oak Man Found; Silver Alert Canceled

A 65-year-old Red Oak man reported missing Tuesday has been found in a North Texas hospital.

David Herrera went missing Tuesday evening after running an errand, according to his family.  His stepdaughter, Madonna Regalado, said when he didn't return from the bank she knew something was wrong and called police.

A statewide Silver Alert was issued.

Chief Garland Wolf, with the Red Oak Police Department, confirmed Wednesday morning before noon that Herrera was found at Medical City Dallas.

According to officials, Herrera had been admitted sometime after 10 p.m. Tuesday after being involved in a car crash.

His condition is not known.

Regalado said Herrera had recently moved into her home on Cobblestone Circle and that in the past month his memory has gotten worse.
