FW Shooting Sparked by Argument Over Woman

Shooting reported at nearby convenience store

Investigators said a shooting reported at a southeast Fort Worth convenience store late Thursday afternoon did not involve a robbery.

There were reports of shots fired at Julie's Food Mart in the 4600 block of Miller Avenue. Police said the shots were fired during an argument between two friends about a woman.

Police and SWAT team members surrounded a nearby neighborhood, where a person with a gun was reportedly in a home.

One person was taken to the hospital. Police said the victim does not want to press charges.
