The 21-year-old former president of a Baylor University fraternity has been indicted on four sexual assault counts after a woman accused him of attacking her outside a party.
Former Phi Delta Theta president Jacob Walter Anderson was initially charged in March and remains free on bond after his indictment Wednesday by a McLennan County grand jury in Waco. Messages left with his attorney weren't returned.
Police say a woman reported Anderson sexually assaulted her after she drank punch he gave her at a fraternity party and grew disoriented.
If convicted, the junior from Garland could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison per count. The fraternity has revoked Anderson's membership.
The recent charges against Anderson and several former Baylor athletes in sex assault cases have raised questions about how the university handles such complaints.
