A coroner in Arkansas says three tote boxes seized last year that contained human heads and other body parts will be cremated.
The heads were being transported to the Fort Worth office of Medtronic, medical research and technology company based in Minnesota. Medtronic said it planned to use the specimens in training for surgeons.
The companies involved in the transaction are no longer interested in it, so Pulaski County Coroner Gerone Hobbs says he plans to have the body parts cremated, after he cremates other bodies being held in his office's freezer.
