SPCA Offers $5,000 Reward

The SPCA of Texas is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for setting two dogs on fire last week.

The dogs were burned so badly they were later euthanized.

Both the District Attorney's Office and the Dallas Police Department are asking for the public's help to apprehend the suspects.

"There is a well documented link between animal cruelty and human violence,” said SPCA of Texas President James Bias. "Helping the Dallas Police Department bring these individuals to justice will help stop the cycle of abuse," said Bias.

Anyone with information about this horrific case of animal cruelty should contact Detective Tommy Weesner with the Dallas Police Department at 214-671-0118.
