John Q. Adams elementary school in Dallas was on lock down Friday morning after officials received reports of a man the area carrying two rifles.
The man was first reported to police at 10:42 a.m.
The school is located at 8239 Lake June Road. Dallas police searched the area for the man, but no one matching his description was found.
Just before 11:30 a.m., the lock down was lifted.
