A puppy that survived being thrown from a vehicle received a forever home on Saturday.
Charlee the dog won the hearts of many NBC 5 viewers after she suffered two broken legs and had to undergo extensive surgery after being thrown from a vehicle in Kaufman County.
Charlee was 7-weeks-old when she was injured.
Furry Friendzy of Kaufman took care of Charlee until she was ready to be adopted.
Brad Leonard and Heidi Larsen, of Allen, adopted Charlee on Saturday.
