Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert is one of 65 mayors set to meet with President Barack Obama Friday morning in Washington.
The Dallas Morning News' City Hall Blog has a list of all the mayors planning to attend, including Houston Mayor Bill White, San Franciso Mayor Gavin Newsom, and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin.
According to the DMN, the main discussion with be U.S. economy revival, though multiple White House cabinet members are also planning to meet with the collection of mayors.
This isn't Leppert's first trip to the nation's capitial -- he's traveled several times in support of the recently passed economic stimulus package, specifically for Dallas' Trinity River Project.
