Police Warn Parents About N. Dallas Flasher

Victims say man asked them for directions, then exposed himself

Police and school officials are warning parents about a flasher in far North Dallas.

The Richardson Independent School District e-mailed parents this week a warning about a man who has reportedly exposed himself to several female students.

Investigators in Dallas have connected two cases around Westwood Junior High School this month.

The school is located within Dallas city limits, but is a part of the Richardson Independent School District.

In both cases, 13-year-old girls were walking home from school when a man lured them to his car by asking for directions.

"He said, 'Hey do you know where Meandering Way is?" one of the victims said.

Police say it is a good idea for girls in the area near Arapaho and Meandering Way to walk in groups.

"To prey on young girls like that, we need to find him and get him off the streets," Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse said.
