One person is dead after a shooting at a North Dallas apartment complex.
At 5:02 a.m. Friday, Dallas police responded to a report of gunshots at the Hunting Ridge Apartments at 9821 Summerwood Circle and found a deceased man in a walkway.
Police have not yet confirmed the man's identity. They would only reveal that he was black, believed to be in his 30s and had been shot multiple times.
Police have set up a large crime scene at the apartment complex. Police did not detail a motive or reveal any suspects.
Neighbors who called 911 reported hearing gunshots and saw people running.
Homicide detectives said the investigation is ongoing and provided no further information.
