Dallas police said they are investigating an overnight attack in a park that left a 52-year-old woman naked and beaten.
Police responded to Opportunity Park at 4130 S. Malcolm X Blvd. at 11:41 p.m. Wednesday after witnesses reported finding the woman barely conscious on the ground. Officers arrived and found the woman groaning in pain with her clothes scattered nearby.
Paramedics took the woman to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. There is no word on her condition.
Police said doctors performed a rape kit on the woman to determine if she had been sexually assaulted and possibly identify the attacker.
