Dallas police say street racing is to blame for a fiery crash that left one person dead.
Police say a green Ford Mustang and a red Honda Accord appeared to be racing in the 6500 to 6600 block of Bruton Rd. when the Mustang came into contact with the Honda and lost control.
The Mustang flipped over, hit a utility pole and burst into flames. The driver of the Mustang was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the Honda ran from the vehicle into a wooded area nearby and police have been unable to find him. Police still want to talk to the driver of the Honda and don't know if he was injured.
The Dallas County medical examiner is working to identify the driver of the Mustang.
