Police Searching for Inmate Who Escaped From Dallas County Jail

Update Monday 10:30 a.m.: Dallas County Sheriff's Office says they're still searching for an escaped inmate.

Police are currently looking for an inmate who escaped from the Dallas County Jail on Friday night.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Department said inmate Raymond Aguero climbed over a back gate at 7:15 Friday night.

Aguero was in jail for evading arrest, resisting arrest, unlawfully carrying a weapon and some drug charges. The Sheriff's Department said his history does not include any violent offenses. 

Dallas County Sheriff Deputies along with Officers from the Dallas Police Department are currently searching the nearby area. 

The Sheriff's Office said Aguero may be injured from climbing over the fence that had razor wire.

Authorities are asking that if anyone sees or knows Aguero's whereabouts to contact them at 214-749-8641.
