Police: 1 Dead, 1 Injured After Shooting in Southeast Dallas

One man is dead and another injured after a deadly shooting Saturday morning in Dallas' Pleasant Grove neighborhood, police say.

The incident happened at 9:10 a.m. Saturday in the 9800 block of Glengreen Drive, according to the Dallas Police Department.

Police said witnesses told them three or four men ran from the scene immediately after the shooting and drove away in a tan four-door sedan.

Later Saturday, police identified the man who was shot and killed as Brandon Small, 28. The man taken to an area hospital had injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Sunday, police said Olajuwon Brown was charged with murder after agreeing to a voluntary interview with detectives. Brown, 18, was allegedly seen on surveillance video leaving the shooting location with a pistol, police said.

Brown remains in the Dallas County Jail as of this writing. No further information was available.
