Police Need Help with Carrollton Hit & Run

Carrollton police need the public's help identifying a man whose body was found in a drainage ditch. Investigators say he's the apparent victim of a hit and run and they need help find the vehicle involved.

Police got the call just after 2:45 p.m. Monday that a passerby discovered a Hispanic man's body in the 1800 block of frontage road along northbound Interstate 35E.

Police said the man is believed to be a Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s with long curly hair and a full beard. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans and boots.

The man had the name of a woman tattooed on his upper back along with other tattoos.

Police said they believe the man was the victim of a hit and run. Investigators believe the vehicle involved was a 2006 Honda Civic with silver/gray metallic pain and damage to the front right side.
