Police said they arrested a 21-year-old man after a high-speed chase in Dallas County Monday morning.
Authorities said they tried to stop the driver for traffic violations just after 10 a.m. The driver — later identified as Javier Esparza — refused and fled west on Interstate 30 in Mesquite.
Esparza then exited I-30 on East Grand Avenue in Dallas and drove into a residential area where he stopped and exited the vehicle just after 10:15 a.m.
Police said Esparza will be charged with evading arrest and several traffic.
