    Two people, including a young child, are hospitalized after a shooting Monday evening in southwest Dallas, police say.

    Investigators said three people were in a car on the 5100 block of Mark Trail when a gold-colored Grand Marquis drove up, and a man fired gunshots toward the victims' car, striking a 25-year-old and a 2-year-old.

    The third person in the victims' vehicle was not injured, police said.

    The child was struck in the shoulder and transported to Children's Medical Center. The adult victim was hospitalized at Methodist Charlton Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.

    The Texas Thunder Truck captured the immediate aftermath of a rollover crash on westbound Interstate 30 in Fort Worth while live on air Tuesday morning. Witnesses told NBC 5 Reporter Larry Collins that one person had minor injuries. It's not clear what caused the crash, though roads were very slick due to a heavy downpour at the time of the incident.

    The person who fired the shots has not been captured, and police continue to investigate the shooting.
