Police say a car hit a woman at the intersection of Jim Miller Road and Barrett Drive on Wednesday at about 11:30 p.m.
According to police, there was a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The man told police the woman started walking down the street and said she was going to kill herself, so he followed her in his vehicle. The man says he saw the woman run into the street where she was hit by a red vehicle. The vehicle did not stop.
The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police say.
Police have not released any more details about the incident.
