Police Investigate Dogs in Texas Woman's Death

Police in South Texas are working to determine if a woman found dead in her backyard was killed by her foster dogs or if she died of natural causes.

The 64-year-old woman was found at her Corpus Christi home on Monday evening after a friend found her door open. Her identity hasn't been released.

Corpus Christi police said there were six dogs and several cats in the home. They are working to determine if the damage done by animals to her body was from before or after her death.

Officers said the loose dogs were not aggressive when they arrived at the home.
