Police: Duncanville Killing Suspect Caught in Washington

Police in Washington state say they've arrested a suspect in the killing of a Duncanville 2-year-old as he was apparently making a run for the Canadian border.

Johnny "Scorpio" Lewis Jr. was taken into custody by Bellingham police on Saturday after a Whatcom Transit Authority bus driver recognized him from photos distributed by authorities and called an officer.

Police said Lewis led them on a two-minute-long foot chase before they caught him, and he initially refused to give his real name.

Lewis was wanted for investigation of capital murder in the death of a 2-year-old in Duncanville, Texas, on Feb. 20. He previously had been spotted traveling through Montana.

He was being held without bail pending his return to Texas.
