A police chase near Houston ended when the suspect was killed after slamming his vehicle into a Starbucks.
The crash happened at about noon Tuesday at a Starbucks in Bellaire, just southwest of Houston, according to NBC affiliate, KPRC.
The dark-colored sedan appeared to strike the outside of the Starbucks before flipping and coming to rest upside down adjacent to the building.
The area was littered with debris from the building and wreckage of the car.
Houston Police Spokesperson Jodi Silva said the sedan appeared to hit the exterior of the Starbucks without continuing inside.
The driver of the car died. There is no word on any other injuries.
The cause of the chase is not known at this time.
