Here's a daily list of recent activities drawing the attention of North Texas law enforcement. List compiled on April 12, 2010.

GIRLS KILLED IN COLLISION
Two children were killed in a car crash early Saturday morning. Fort Worth police said the drivers of two vehicles were drunk when they collided on Highway 287. Breanna Muniz, 4, and Deanna Mata, 2, both died. David Whitworth, who was driving the car with the children, will be charged with DWI with a child passenger when he is released from the hospital, police said. The other driver, Jared Clark, has been released from the hospital and arrested on two charges of intoxication manslaughter.

UNSOLVED DEATH OF 67-YEAR-OLD MAN
Regional Water District Police recovered Robert Burleson's body in the Harbor One Marina on Eagle Mountain Lake on Sunday morning. Burleson reportedly went missing Saturday night. Fisherman originally found the body floating in the water near the Spot restaurant. Tarrant County investigators said they are not sure how Burleson died, but medical examiners are determining that.

DRIVER KILLED IN HIGH-SPEED WRECK
A man allegedly driving at a high rate of speed lost control of his Dodge Neon on Military Parkway underneath the Interstate 635 bridge in Mesquite and hit the bridge support on Sunday. The driver died at the scene. A female passenger was taken to Baylor Hospital in Dallas, where she was in critical condition Monday afternoon. Traffic officers are investigating the wreck.

1 KILLED IN DALLAS SHOOTING
A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in Dallas on Sunday. The shooting occurred just after noon in the 11100 block of Walnut Hill Lane. Rodolfo Campean was taken to Baylor Hospital, where he died. Dallas police used a helicopter and ground units to search for the shooter in the area where Campean was shot.
