All three deaths investigated as homicides

Police are investigating the murders of three people whose bodies found inside a north Fort Worth home Monday morning.

Officers responded to a welfare check at a house in the 200 block of Sunset Lane at approximately 11:30 a.m. Inside they discovered the bodies of three adults.

Two of the deceased were identified Tuesday as 50-year-old David Adams and 57-year-old Ronney Jackson.  According to the Tarrant County medical examiner Adams died after being shot in the head.  Jackson's cause of death has not yet been released.  The identity of the third victim has not yet been released.

Police said Tuesday all three deaths were being investigated as homicides.

One neighbor told NBC 5 a man and his wife live at the home. He said he saw a car pull up there after 11 a.m., and shortly after, all of the police cars arrived.

Other neighbors gathered outside to see what was going on.

โ€œKind of shocked. I have been home since 11:30, 12 oโ€™clock this afternoon and never heard nothing, never saw nothing. It was kind of a big surprise when I came back from the gym today and seen all this commotion going on,โ€ said Justin Inglet, neighbor.

Animal control officers were also called to the home to remove several cats and kittens found inside the home. The animals were not harmed.

NBC 5's Julie Fine contributed to this story.
