Dallas Police Search for Woman in Connection to Deadly Shooting

Police asked for the public's help to find 36-year-old Alexis Bowman

    Dallas police are asking for help to locate a woman suspected of involvement in the Saturday shooting death of 42-year-old man.

    Police asked for help to find Alexis Bowman, 36, in connection to the shooting of Fredrick Myers late Saturday morning.

    The shooting happened around 11:23 a.m. in the 3100 block of Al Lipscomb Way, which is near Fair Park, police said.

    After the shooting, authorities transported Myers to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.

    Police released footage of a mother who said she accidentally left her 5-month-old in a car for half an hour in a Goodyear, Arizona, parking lot when she, her sister and other daughter went into the store. Officers are heard on camera saying it was about 99 degrees outside.

    Police said they believed Bowman was responsible for the shooting.
